Learning for Life
Learning4Life is part of The Wordsley School. It provides community and learning activities for pupils, parents and the community. The Wordsley School is open seven days a week from 7.30am in the morning until 9.30pm at night 48 weeks a year.
What have we to offer you?
Leisure activities for all the family. Our Learning 4 Life Community Group provides:
- weekly swimming
- aquafit
- bowling
- weight training
- children’s sports sessions
- family history session.
Membership: Free. Complete a membership form on your first session.
Clubs: The facilities at The Wordsley School are used on a regular basis by these clubs:

Literacy and Numeracy:
Many adults need some extra help with spelling, punctuation, letters, percentages, fractions etc. Staff are available to diagnose problem areas, devise the right course to help and eventually test and accredit a Level One and Two certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy.
Family Learning:
We work with The Wordsley School, Hawbush, Brook, Brockmoor, and Ashwood Park schools to develop Family Learning programmes to improve children’s attainment and increase opportunity for participating families.
